Nomadus Consulting LLC was founded in 2023 in Baltimore, Maryland to bring operational and acquisition experience in the electromagnetic spectrum to the programs that need it most.

Nomadus is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business supporting Department of Defense programs with electromagnetic warfare, PNT and SATCOM expertise. We work entirely remote, which keeps costs down for our customers and lets us scale talent and tools to fit each requirement.

Our work centers on helping government teams understand the technology market, define what they need, and engage industry efficiently: technology scouting, vendor assessment, industry days, requirements analysis and the documentation that ties it together.

Nick Holmes

Founder and Managing Principal

Nick Holmes founded Nomadus Consulting after 12 years in the United States Marine Corps, where he served as both an enlisted signals intelligence analyst and a commissioned signals intelligence officer. He completed four overseas deployments, including two with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit and a 10 month tour in Helmand, Afghanistan leading the SIGINT detachment of Task Force Southwest.

His final assignment was at Headquarters Marine Corps, where he served as requirements officer for MEGFoS, a $1.4 billion electromagnetic warfare program, shaping capability development and acquisition planning. Since 2023 he has led Nomadus in providing EW, PNT and SATCOM subject matter expertise to Marine Corps programs.

Nick holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Memphis and an Executive MBA from the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business.
